Simple but very effective robust bypass tool for turning the interior thumb-turns on euro & oval type cylinders from standing outside without the need of having to pick open the cylinder to gain entry. Also very handy when there is no letterbox to go through to get onto the thumb –turn. 

Does not work on every cylinder but will work on the majority.
